Social Skills Group

Social Skills Groups

Weekly Social Skills Groups are structured, skills-based sessions covering areas such as social thinking, perspective-taking, emotional regulation, life skills, and mindfulness, etc.

Groups are kept small, with two to four learners, allowing the curriculum and activities to be tailored to each learner’s needs, developmental level, and learning goals. The group setting also provides opportunities for learners to practise skills with their peers, develop meaningful social connections, and build friendships.

As this is an ongoing weekly programme, regular attendance and commitment are important for continuity and progress. Trial and ad hoc lessons are not available.

Transition Groups

Transition Groups are structured, four-month weekly programmes designed to support learners as they navigate important transitions in education, employment, or adulthood. Trial and ad hoc lessons are not available.

Fees

  • 1-hour Social Skills or Transition Group: $150 per learner per lesson. Monthly fee is $600 to be paid in the 1st week of each month. No class in the 5th week.

  • 1.5-hour Social Skills or Transition Group: $200 per learner per lesson. Monthly fee is $800 to be paid in the 1st week of each month. No class in the 5th week.

  • Suitability Assessment: $250

  • 1-hour Individual Bridging Lesson: $200 per learner per lesson

Suitability Assessment

Before joining a group, each learner will attend a suitability assessment. The assessment helps identify the learner’s individual needs, determine their suitability for the programme, and find the most appropriate group placement.

Please note that completing a suitability assessment does not guarantee placement in a group.

Bridging Lessons

New learners joining an existing group are required to attend 8–12 individual bridging lessons. These lessons help new learners prepare for and adjust to the group while supporting a smooth transition for existing group members.

Bridging lessons are scheduled on a different day from the regular group session.
